American Dinnerware Replacements from the Kilns of MS, Max Schonfeld

Replacement Dinnerware from the Kilns of MS, Max Schonfeld made in the USA.

Max Schonfeld was a Los Angeles, California distributor of diverse products including pottery & china. Gladding McBean made a line titled Kaolena for Schonfeld from 1930 - 1951, according to Lehner. She further speculates that Gladding McBean was the manufacturer of the patterns "Sierra" and "El Verde" for Schonfeld. Otto Lund in his Gladding McBeam history typescripts notes that Pottery and China made for MS was shipped out without identification, although one earthenware sample found in the archives suggests that some ware may have been stamped. His tradmark was a MS in script.
