 The present-day Pfaltzgraff Company traces its original roots back to the early 1800´s and with its predecessor companies, is
one of the oldest manufacturers of pottery in the United States.
The Pfaltzgraff family has been continuously involved in the
manufacturing of stoneware and related products since the early 1800´.
The current president is Louis J. Appell, Jr..
Even though the Pfaltzgraff Company´s history dates back to 1805,
the company as we know it today is a relative newcomer to
dinnerware, as Pfaltzgraff made their first dinnerware in 1940.
