Westmoreland, Collectible Glass 1889 - 1984; In 1889 a group of investors took the risk of founding a glass company - it became the Westmoreland Glass Company of Grapeville, Pennsylvania. The name was changed in 1923 to Westmoreland Glass Company.
The company closed in May, 1984.
