The china factory Arzberg was originally established by the family Schumann. The china factory Arzberg made a name for itself with the production of china items with broken patterns. The company was taken over by the Kahla-Group in 1927. The Arzberg-Line was registered in 1955 as company brand. In 1972 Kahla merged with Hutschenreuther. The first china industry settled in Arzberg in 1838 and further large companies turned Arzberg into the second largest porcelain town in the area.
