Homer Laughlin China, Andover 1940, China Replacements
Replacement China in the Andover china patterns made by Homer Laughlin China.
Andover 1940, Gordon A-1 decoration
The Andover shape was designed for the Carson, Pirie and Scott Company to be used with their Carson Wishmaker series which combined different household goods into one ensemble for sale. The Andover shape is hollowware only and was used in combination with the Swing shape flatware. Andover appears to not have many decorations; the most common is the Gordon decoration and is marked A-1.
