Currant; Eagle backstamp in gold
In the early 1900s in an attempt to enter the art pottery field, HLC produced a unique line of art china.
It was marked in gold or black with an eagle and the name ´Laughlin Art China´. Examples of this ware are very rare, but it has an enthusiastic following.
Their most extensive pattern was called ´Currant´, brown ware with decals of berries and vines.
