Currant; Eagle backstamp in gold
In the early 1900s in an attempt to enter the art pottery field, HLC produced a unique line of art china.
It was marked in gold or black with an eagle and the name Laughlin Art China. Examples of this ware are very rare, but it has an enthusiastic following.
Their most extensive pattern was called Currant, brown ware with decals of berries and vines.
