1911 to 1960: In these date codes, the first set of character(s) represent the month, the second set the year and the third set identifies the plant in which the piece is made. For illustration purposes, all of the codes in the tables have "L" or "N" as the plant code; there are other plant codes consisting of letters or a combination of letters and numbers. The month/year codes are as follows:
1911-1919 1 through 12 indicate January through December, followed by 1 through 9 for the last digit of the year from 1911-1919.
