Homer Laughlin China, Charm House, China Replacements
Replacement Homer Laughlin China in the Charm House discontinued china patterns.
Don Schreckengost designed Charm House in the late 1940s for a group of distributors under the umbrella of China and Glass Distributors, Inc. The group was made up of Omaha Crockery Company, Carson Crockery Company, Seller-Lowengart Company, Bechtel, Lutz & Jost Inc., Robinson Clay Products and United China & Glass Company. The group arrangement was short lived but the companies were able individually for a period of time to buy Charm House at the group rate prices. The Charm House shape was holloware only and was mixed with other flatware shapes. Charm House holloware was used later in the 1950s with Dura Print decorations.
