Homer Laughlin China, Color Tone promotional name
Color Tone promotional name used by Homer Laughlin China.
Color Tone was more of a promotional name than a shape or process. It seems to be a continuation of the Dura-Print process and was more than likely used on mixed shapes. Some patterns that used the Color Tone are Rose Garden, Pink Lady, Diana and Green and Sugar Maple.
A 1960s ad for Color Tone stated: "A New High in Dinnerware Achievement." "Color Tone Stops the Show."
