Homer Laughlin China, Coventry / Granada, China Replacements

Replacement Homer Laughlin China in the Coventry / Granada patterns

Coventry, Granada is a casual ironstone line. It was introduced in the mid 70´s and frequently used colored glazes that were popular during that time --- shades to match harvest gold and avocado green kitchens.

Granada shapes were utilized to make patterns for other distributors, so they may be found with backstamps saying Coventry, Sheffield, Jepcor, and others. All pieces in this line have petal-like embossing; some near the edge, others in double rows mid-object.

Casualstone dish ware was produced in 1970, and sold under the trade name of "Coventry". It was the second line made to be sold exclusively through supermarket promotions by the Homer Laughlin China Company, reknowned makers of the "Fiesta" dinnerware.

Several Sets used mix and match pieces in the solid color glaze. Not all pieces to the sets have the pattern decal. Both patterns listed below use the mix and match pieces.
