Liberty 1942 - Liberty was possibly the last shape Mr. Rhead helped develop before his death in November 1942. This shape is described as having a gadroon edge, which is a type of fluting around the outer edge. Liberty is a medium weight ware with a traditional shape. It was reported as not being well received by buyers, but was produced for nearly 10 years.

The Homer Laughlin, Liberty patterns were produced from 1942 into the 1950´s.
