´Traditional Shape´ 1961 One of the most difficult colors to achieve in hand decorating fine earthenware is the "just right" luscious red, used as an accent in this delightful pattern. Balancing the the hand-painted strawberries are the subtle avocado-green leaves, with solid tone avocada green color in the uniquely shaped holloware. Colors are detergent proof under honey-toned glaze. Note, too, the unique Strawberry knobs that make for exciting conservation pieces.
  The beginning of Metlox Manufacturing Company dates back to 1927 and was incorporated in the state of California in 1933. Metlox Manufacturing Company´s incorporation was terminated on January 4, 1988.
