Early American with the exciting red coloring that lends style and life to Provincial Ware. The orange or "firecoal" is a distinct achievement in ceramics. The basic shapes are derived from older Table Ware, made from tin...hence the "rivets" on the holloware pieces. The smoky effects on the edges and handles suggest age and enchance the antique feeling. The touches of deep red, straw yellow and leaf green paint up the beauty of this distinctive ware. The wide and varied accesssories are so beautiful that you'll add to your set and display pieces in hutches, pantry or kitchen.
The beginning of Metlox Manufacturing Company dates back to 1927 and was incorporated in the state of California in 1933. Metlox Manufacturing Companys incorporation was terminated on January 4, 1988.
