Nippon, Toki Kaisha china pattern 1850 replacement by Noritake China

Discontinued Pattern, Noritake China replacements in the Nippon Toki Kaisha pattern 1850 from Robbins Nest.

In 1867 Ichizaemon Morimura established Morimura-kumi, which was a Japanese exporting company, based in Tokyo. Some years later he opened a factory in Nagoya, Japan producing fine china. This was to become the Nippon Toki Kaisha Ltd., which was the forerunner to Noritake. Despite suffering major damage at the Noritake factory during World War II, Noritake, renamed Noritake Company Limited in 1982, is today a thriving success, exporting fine china all around the world and particularly to the USA.
