Old Roman 1928 - This shape was first produced for Quaker Oats as a giveaway in boxes of cereal. It was sent to Quaker Oats on September 14, 1928 for their approval, and was given the okay for production on October 17, 1928. Old Roman was produced in solid colors of green or yellow as well as applied decorations. A 1934 Montgomery Wards catalog listed a 32 piece set of Snowflower pattern for $4.39. No photo available.
