Homer Laughlin China, China Shapes and Patterns made for the Quaker Oats Company.

Quaker Oats - Harvest QO19, Pastoral QO20 and Wild Rose QO21 are three patterns produced as an exclusive premium for the Quaker Oats Company and was offered in boxes of their cereal. All three patterns were referred to as Pastoral Ware by the Quaker Oats Company. All three patterns are the same shape. Wild Rose is the only pattern of the three that is known to have additional items which could be ordered from Quaker oats by sending in coupons found in the boxes of Quaker Oats cereal.

Other shapes ordered by Quaker Oats: Modern Star, Peachtree, Tea Rose, Ivory Color, Doric, Chelsea, Wells, Ravenna, Trellis, Carnival, Brittany, and 3 piece child´s set made up of a Purina bowl, ovaltime mug and a 5" plate.

The Quaker Oats Company was officially formed in 1901 when several American grain pioneers came together to incorporate the now familiar name. These pioneers were Ferdinand Schumacher, John Stuart, George Douglas and Henry Parsons Crowell. Besides being the first registered trademark for a breakfast cereal, the Quaker Cereal company has spawned many other firsts in the field of cereal products.
